Our Team

Kimberlee Gorsline, Principal Interior Designer

"I knew from a young age that I was interested in interior design. As a girl I inherited my mothers old dollhouse and immediately began dusting off the cobwebs and fixing it up. Being resourceful I took old carpet samples that were laying around the house and cut them down to size to fit into my new dollhouse. I re-wallpapered the walls and made the perfect environment for my dolls. For me, making spaces beautiful and functional was a passion then, and still is today.

My passion for home design led me to Seattle Pacific University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2008. This helped me to hone my eye for color and my talent for space planning. I am committed to making your home a more serene and functional place to live.

I believe our homes are an integral part of our lives. They provide us a space to rest, relax, and recharge on a day to day basis and they are where some of our best memories are made with family and friends.

Our well-being depends on this peaceful rest and time with those we love when we’re not in the daily grind. My goal is to help you create a living space that you love being in; a retreat from the rest of the world. I will help you transform your house into a home; and I will add warmth and functionality to your living area, creating a space that you love and that is uniquely you.”

Amy Wu, Intermediate Interior Designer

“Coming from the small country of Taiwan, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to travel and see different parts of the world. Through my travels, I fell in love with art and the history behind each creation. My family runs a construction company back home so growing up I would always see my dad examining small building details that no one else would pay attention to. Having a strong interest in both architecture and fashion as a kid led me to the world of interior design. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and moved to San Francisco to work at a hospitality firm. I earned my Master’s degree in Interior Design at the Academy of Art University and decided to transition into residential design so I can be more hands-on with my projects. My goal is to bring our client’s vision to life while preserving the uniqueness of the architecture.”

Natalie Kinney, Operations Manager

“Interior Design has always been a hobby of mine but initially after graduating from the University of Washington I pursued a career in Physical Therapy. When my husband and I purchased our first home, I finally had the opportunity to put my hobby to use and create a place that felt like home for us. I now feel incredibly lucky to be a part of Kimberlee Marie Interiors and learn from two of the best every day. Although most of my role at KMI is behind the scenes, you may hear from me occasionally as I oversee all of the administrative aspects of our projects.”
